Originally from Portugal, Carla is currently doing her PhD in Genetics at the University of Kent.
She decided to enroll as Treasurer of the UKC Salsa Society for the academic year 22/23 and be part of the Communications and Social Media management team for the MAD festival.
Since she joined the society last year, most of her free time is dedicated to dancing, especially Kizomba and Bachata.
